WHO IS IN CONTROL, ANYWAY?

All roads lead back to control. Who has it and who doesn´t. This physical and emotional dynamic impacts all we do. It is particularly important to examine control as it relates to individuals with Alzheimer´'s disease and their caregivers. Looking at how we use control in almost every situation will result in honesty about what we are doing with regards to behavioral help. Without the ability to do this, the results can be devastating for the person with the disease, the family, the healthcare professionals and even the environment.

This webcast will address specific behaviors especially as they relate to functional level. One size never fits all, but how many times have you been asked, "Mom refuses to take a bath. What are we going to do?" We will discuss differing dynamics as well as emotional issues as they relate to behavior.

This upbeat program will expose the truth behind all those hoarded sugar packs and the black hole that surrounds an individual with cognitive decline.
